Description

After drinking too much at the bar and making a fool of himself, arena cleaner Ludicrus is "promoted" to gladiator. To become a free man again, he must defeat three opponents: the great Germanic warrior Herr Liss, the femme fatale Bon d'Age, and the masked gladiator Bud Vyzr. Ludricrus must last five rounds against each opponent or face a lion. If the lion wins, it's game over. The game is a one-on-one fighting game, with Ludicrus armed with a short knife. Through a combination of button presses and joystick pulls, Ludicrus can back away, jump, take cover, and strike with his knife. As in Streetfighter II, horizontal scrolling is limited. Since there are no energy bars, you must keep mental track of how much damage you've taken and caused. The graphics are cartoonish with a touch of Asterix.
