Synopsis

"Metron" puts the player in control of a spaceship with the mission to destroy everything in space—including mines, cruisers, and star bases. Cruisers remain invisible until the player nears their base, at which point they attack and start circling the ship, forcing the player to eliminate them. Two types of asteroids appear: red ones contain minerals that increase the score when destroyed but must be dealt with quickly before being replaced by a processor. Green asteroids leave behind smart bombs, which can be used to destroy star bases, though only three can be active at a time. The game ends when the player's energy runs out or if the ship moves off the playfield.
