In an ordinary school filled with seemingly ordinary students, a strange power is being awakened in a few select pupils. Known as ego, the power is capable of linking individuals together with surprising results and consequences. The power of ego may also be manifested as mechanical objects and weapons.
Players adopt the role of a student named Ryo Matsuura who develops his inner ego and interacts with friends and rivals who may also have ego. Realize was originally released on the PC as an interactive hentai game in 2004 but its adult content has been stripped. New content for the console conversion include voice acting, new scenarios, and graphical cut scenes.
