Synopsis

In "Space Fiends," you take control of a spaceship to protect a research base from aliens abducting geologists during their work. You move along the bottom of the screen, firing upward to destroy waves of attacking aliens dropping bombs. To rescue scientists, you must shoot the aliens holding them captive. Additional aliens appear on the surface, moving across the screen. If you touch them or are hit by a bomb, you lose one of your six lives. Your mission is to safeguard the scientists and eliminate all the aliens.
