Description

Starbyte Super Soccer is a football management simulation in which the player takes on the role of a manager and is responsible for both sporting and financial aspects. The aim of the game is to take the chosen team from the fourth to the first German league; the game is won when a predefined goal is achieved. In addition to the German league of the 1991/1992 season (with 18 teams instead of the real 20), there are also fictional scenarios, e.g. a world league with national teams. The player has the usual options such as line-up, tactics, training camp, transfer market, stadium expansion and merchandising. The strength of a player is calculated from position, form and energy. After each season, the manager must have a certain amount of money in his account in order not to be fired. The manager's performance is evaluated, which is particularly interesting when there are several players. The controls are completely menu-based.
